In honor of National Author’s Day, I’d like to let you all in on a little thing called NaNoWriMo…. That’s National Novel Writing Month! And it’s this month! That’s right. November is National Novel Writing Month. So, for those of you who don’t normally write but are interested, it’s a great time to pick up your pens, pencils, or favorite word processing program/app and write something! For those of you who are already doing that anyway, well… keep it up! 🙂
But that’s not all! Oh no, that’s not all… if you decide to participate in NaNoWriMo, there’s a nifty website you can check out. Go there to sign up — it’s free — and it can help you keep track of your progress and connect to other writers. I participated a few years ago on the site and managed to write 50k words that month. While I’ll already be writing this time around, I’m not sure if I’ll use the website, but it’s definitely a great tool to look into.
Do you plan to participate in NaNoWriMo this year? Are you already doing it? Let me know!
And for those who haven’t heard, I just released THE TIME-LOST GIRL. It’s available through Amazon in ebook and paperback format.
