Hello, readers!
I hope you enjoyed the holiday season and are having a great 2020, so far!
Today, I want to talk about my next book, CREEPING SLOWLY AND EVAPORATING. Like my debut novel, it is a YA/adult crossover. CREEPING SLOWLY AND EVAPORATING is a paranormal romance featuring the little-known supernatural creature, the vampire. Kidding, obviously… we all know there are plenty of vampire stories out there. I, however, believe there can never be too many good paranormal romances involving vampires. I love vampire romances! And, apparently, so do a lot of other people. In any case, I wrote this book during my one and only NaNoWriMo stint, a few years ago, and once I get a final edit in on it, it will be ready for publishing.
I have also been working on the cover art for CREEPING SLOWLY AND EVAPORATING and can’t wait to reveal it… and I will. Soon.
Until then, you can find the summary below… release date to come.
Last year, Ali met her first Vampire.
Which would have been. So. Cool.
If she wasn’t the new girlfriend of Ali’s best friend — and secret crush. If she wasn’t all sunshine and flowers and sparkling blonde waves. Everything Ali’s not.
And if Ali hadn’t lost all memory of the next few days.
Now, as a college freshman, the memories are seeping through the cracks and coming back to haunt her. When her therapist suggests hypnosis, Ali jumps at the chance to recover that lost part of herself.
Through a series of vivid flashbacks, she begins to piece it all together. But the more she remembers, the more questions arise. Was her best friend kidnapped? Did Ali really team up with a Vampire to find him? Did she develop feelings for that Vampire?! The answers are buried in her subconscious, if she could just access them. But what if she doesn’t like what she discovers?
And she’s not the only one with a vested interest in her memory retrieval. Someone is going to a lot of trouble… But do they want her to remember? Or will they stop at nothing to keep her memories hidden?
